Why this wiki exists

Sludgineers released on 25 August 2026 into an almost completely empty information ecosystem. There was no official wiki, no fan database, no published data mining, and no guide coverage beyond a handful of reviews. Players hitting the Low Energy wall in their first twenty minutes, or wondering whether the game has co-op, had nowhere to look.

This site fills that gap. It covers how to play Sludgineers, what to upgrade and in what order, how the refinery and drones work, every region and resource we can verify, all 25 achievements, and the practical questions — price, platforms, free versions, length, multiplayer — that people actually search for.

How we verify things

Every factual claim on this wiki comes from one of three places, and pages say which:

  1. Official sources. The Sludgineers Steam store page, the developers' Steam news posts, the pinned Steam Community FAQ thread, the Funk Games press kit, the Snickerdoodle Games site and the itch.io listing.
  2. Direct observation. In-game screenshots read carefully — upgrade node tooltips, quest cards, payout screens, HUD readouts and Job Progress milestone values. Where we quote a number like “$2,150 plus 20 refined resources”, we read it off a tooltip.
  3. Community reporting. Achievement completion data and published reviews, attributed where used.

Every page carries a last verified date at the bottom. If a page says 26 August 2026, that is the day a human last checked its claims against those sources.

What we refuse to do

A lot of new-game “wikis” pad themselves out with plausible-sounding invention — fabricated upgrade names, made-up achievement lists, guessed region counts — because a complete table looks more authoritative than an honest gap. We do not do that.

Media and copyright

Screenshots, trailers and key art on this site are official Sludgineers media, served directly from the rights holders' own content delivery networks (Steam) and embedded from the official Funk Games YouTube channel. They are used for identification, illustration and commentary, and every instance is credited to Snickerdoodle Games and Funk Games.

Sludgineers is developed by Snickerdoodle Games and Funk Games and published by Funk Games and Gamersky Games. All game names, artwork, screenshots, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. This wiki claims no ownership of them. If a rights holder would like any asset removed, contact us and it will be removed promptly.

Official Sludgineers links

If you want the developers rather than us, these are the official destinations. This wiki is not one of them, and none of these links are affiliate links:

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we want to fix it. Sludgineers is a live game, patch notes change numbers, and a wiki assembled in a game's first week will contain mistakes. When you report one, please include the page, the claim, and what you saw in-game instead — a screenshot is ideal, since that is how we verify things ourselves.

Corrections are applied and the page's last verified date updated. We do not quietly edit substantive factual changes; where a correction matters, the page says what changed.

Monetisation and independence

This wiki runs third-party advertising and uses Google Analytics to understand traffic; it uses no affiliate links. Links to Steam, itch.io and the developers' own pages are plain links that earn nothing. Nothing on this site is a sponsored recommendation, including the comparisons on our Sludgineers vs Moldwasher page — where, as it happens, we say Moldwasher is the better pick for several types of player. See the Privacy Policy for what our advertising and analytics partners collect.

Sludgineers FAQ

Is this the official Sludgineers wiki?

No. This is an independent, unofficial fan wiki. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Snickerdoodle Games, Funk Games or Gamersky Games. The official Sludgineers destinations are linked in the Official Links section of every page.

Where does the information on this Sludgineers wiki come from?

From the official Steam store page, the developers' Steam news posts and FAQ thread, the Funk Games press kit, direct observation of in-game screenshots, and attributed community reporting. Every page carries a last-verified date.

Why are some Sludgineers pages incomplete?

Because Sludgineers launched on 25 August 2026 and some data — every upgrade node name, the full region list, all 25 achievement titles — is still being compiled from play. We label those gaps rather than filling them with invention.

Fact-checked against the official Steam store page, the developer FAQ thread and in-game screenshots. Last verified .
